Anti-Virus Scanning Technology for Inclusion in Integrated Messaging
Security Solution Now Available

today announced that it has selected Network Associates® award-winning
McAfee® anti-virus scanning technology, which includes the Olympus
Engine, into the MailFrontier Enterprise GatewayTM 3.0, now available
to the market. MailFrontier’s decision to utilize the McAfee
anti-virus scanning technology is based on the repeated success of the
engine in independent evaluations. The technology is backed by
McAfee® AVERT™ (Anti-virus and Vulnerability Emergency Response
Team), providing customers with the resources and solutions to stay proactively
protected from the latest vulnerabilities, viruses, Trojans and other
malicious code threats, including Spyware and Adware. The combination
of the McAfee anti-virus scanning technology and MailFrontier’s
Real-Time Response Network, which uses a community of users to identify
email threats, provides a comprehensive solution to help enterprise users
identify new viruses quickly, proactively preventing the infection and
eliminating the side affects from malicious threat attacks.
